Not necessarily. Reagan and O’Neill were polar opposites, but you didn’t see them acting like today’s spoiled brats in DC. Same with Clinton and Gingrich. They were able to compromise on issues that worked out for the people. Pelosi absolutely refuses to do that and, in fact, would let the people suffer in order to advance her own issues.
Explains why Reagan's deficits were through the roof. Democrats would promise spending cuts, but would never deliver.

Just like calling for no debates because of President lies, speaks untruths explanation by Pelosi. The real reason is because they are terrified Biden will show his dementia and would be an embarrassment.
