of course she’s deflecting, but think about it. This is the message leadership in the Dem party has been pushing for 15 years now. Don’t communicate/insulate into an ever-narrowing echo chamber. Is it any wonder that their base feels it’s appropriate to be rude to any form of authority, disregard people’s property, livelihoods, private spaces, even workplace rules? Statements like the above give people license to look down on others, to humiliate and therefore dehumanize others. That is not leadership any more than tearing up a speech behind the speaker’s back is leadership. Pelosi needs to undergo a psych eval to determine her level of age-related dementia and the public is entitled to see those results.
