Also, trains should not stop for illegal protestors. It is hard to get the mangled bodies out of the undercarriage so bumping them to the side is a more environmentally friendly way of doing things.
(I was on a train that hit and killed a man walking down widely used railroad tracks. We looked for his body but it was not found under the train, only later far away in the brush near the tracks. No one ever saw him getting hit as we thought it was an animal. A tragedy, but a preventable one on the dead person’s part.
