Dropped down there now and then. Yeah, claustrophobic. Never put my finger on why I didn't care for the place.. Claustrophobic is a good description.
Spent my time at Father's Five (Father's Dive) or The 7s occasionally.

The wife and I ate there a few years back on a walking tour...yes it was claustrophobic. Food was decent, place was odd.

Yes. Nothing like the set of Cheers. Was my local, a lifetime ago. Loved the notices in the bar, from the Barleyhoppers, inviting people to join them on their bar cruises. I always figured I would probably puke halfway through their run, so I never joined them (I did run for exercise at that time).
The Bull and Finch was wonderful on a winter’s day.......Keoki Coffee in hand, warming up when the snow and wind blew off the Public Garden. Lovely memories.

Shame. Very tourist place, but the interior looked a lot more like the TV show than the Bull and Finch Pub (very small inside).
