Remember how the Post was an Afternoon Paper?

That might have been before my time. I doubt CT would have gotten an afternoon edition of a NY paper past Fairfield County, the New Haven Register was the dominant New Haven paper and it was an afternoon edition as well. Even smaller cities like Meriden would have a morning and evening paper.

When I went to college in Chicago, I found that the Chicago Tribune had MULTIPLE editions, with the afternoon paper featuring a green masthead (the green streak).

That’s interesting, so you’d be sure you were getting the latest edition.
