Different Navy than I remember. LOL.I should have closed my tags and also clarified my comment. I was Air Force. Rules may have been different. Like I said, within the unit and on our aircraft, they were okay. Outside the unit it was whatever the formal unit patch was.
They were, as were all things like this, subject to the Unit Commander’s approval.
