Interesting information in that article. But oh my goodness, I would hate to read his doctoral thesis. His writing is very messy. I am familiar with what happened but it was a challenge to follow. Maybe future writing will be straight forward since this kind of laid groundwork.

I took the convoluted style to indicate that he thought he was being "cagey" -- and doing a "slow reveal" -- like someone being paid by the word...

(Note that I "boiled it down to essence" a bit...)

I need to re-visit it. He also mentioned Steele's "primary source" by name -- a name which the FBI redacts repeatedly -- under the guise of "protecting source identity". Need to get that name and mentaally "plug it in" when reading the declassed/redacted FBI doc just released by Graham.
