I hope that you have had a chance to watch Dr. Mobeen Syed's explanation of the mechanisms (plural) of HCQ, re its use-full-ness in the battle against the SARS-2-CoV Coronavirus.

I had to watch his "DrBeen" explanation of HCQ mechanisms several times, in order to gather his quick English dialect re some of the terminology that he used (egs. mRNA is "messenger RNA").

In the absence of HCQ, and based upon what Dr. Mobeen Syed has explained otherwise (egs. Famotidine), plus some other info (re, of course, vitamins C and D), a combination of Battlefield Expedients:

Famotidine (egs. Pepcid; also under the Equate brand name at Walmart), Zinc (some use Zicam Cold Remedy), vitamin D (some say D3), vitamin C (I am grateful that a variety of fruit is still at the grocery store), exercise, and sleep, plus plenty of fluids (under stress, some people tend to stop drinking refreshment), good personal hygiene, good mask maintenance . . . all operate in a person's favor.

Sorry to be so late getting back on this; I’m taking a quick break from storm prepping at the moment. Here we are in hurricane season now, which will make things interesting. Thanks for the additional information—I really appreciate it! I am familiar with the Frontline Doctor information in the videos, and have posted links at my humble but earnest blog, http://eaglesnesthome.weebly.com/blog/a-reluctant-virus-post.

I must apologize but I seldom watch videos, as I can save time by speedreading transcripts. If you have a link to a transcript, that would be great, and I can take a look at it when I get time.

I am definitely upping my supply of essential vitamins, as well as ensuring I am outdoors enough to take in sunlight—natural vitamin D—without sunscreen. Everyone in my family has been taking a generic form of Emergen-C. If I become symptomatic, I would immediately triple my vitamin C, and try and get a doctor to give me IV C as well as hCQ. As backup, I have a stock of cinchona bark (which is the herbal form of quinine) although I understand it is comparatively weak in effect (as opposed to HCQ). You can buy it from that much maligned online monster store.

I have also not had time to fully research the Pepsid/Proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs), which reduce stomach acid production. I have seen the recommendations for using it as part of Covid-19 treatment. My personal preference would be a natural substitute, due to medication side effects from PPIs. I might try bromelain, which has minimal side effects but can promote healthy digestion, relieve joint pain, and reduce inflammation. Anyway, you’ve posted very helpful information—as always, I would urge all Freepers to consult a doctor they can trust, as each individual has unique needs. I can generally tell if I can trust them by their reaction to this question: “What would you do if your family member needed help with this condition?” I wonder how Dr. Fauci would respond?
