When I was in Sales, it was the thing they pounded into our heads—everyone loves hearing their name pronounced right. Especially when you are asking them for money.
Oh, I believe you. But I still have people screw it up. And if they pronounce it correctly, they cannot spell it correctly.
Heck, Mississippians pronounce Kosciusko wrong to start with (BTW not my surname, but another Polish name).
