One thing I’ll never be without is a wind-up radio. Dad bought me one years ago and it has come in handy during a few bad storms or to know what’s going on in the outside world when you’re out of power or off the grid.

Compare this to the Wookie who effectively trained kids to trash the meals she forced on kids’ school cafeterias. Even if they don’t pay particular attention to the subject material some of it will stick and maybe save their lives when everyone else is panicking.
