HF hand tools and impact sockets have done very well by me.

I could never see buying their jackstands or things I actually have to trust.

There’s a test of Harbor Freight torque wrench vs Snap on. The HF was more accurate. Snap on cost more.

I have a pretty old set of HF impact sockets that are stamped “JAPAN”.

My brother owns an excavating and paving company. They use Harbor Freight wrenches and other hand tools on the jobsite. The tools routinely get buried with whatever else that is going in the ground.

They are the go to place for that tool you need once to get a job done but probably won’t ever use again, so why pay top dollar for a top shelf tool. When it comes to safety equipment only a fool scrimps.

I always used floor jacks (with more capacity than needed) to get them up and then put the jackstands (plural to keep weight from being applied obliquely ) and left the floor jack in place as a safety net.
