Modern art is where you take a dump on canvas and call it “The Tragedy of Orange Man Bad” or similar. Sell it for 5 million buckaroos.
The art world seems to be full of corruption and people who use it for money laundering.
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Jean-Michel Basquiat and, trust me, you are better off not knowing who he was. His “art” sells for millions, tens of millions of dollars. Now, if you gave one of his pieces to me, I would gladly turn around and sell it to some rich sucker and be a millionaire, but from my perspective, the true value of his “art” is the price of the canvas, which I would promptly paint over. Poker playing dogs and velvet Elvis’s belong in the Louvre compared to Basquiat’s garbage.
Basquiat gets ripped off all the time!
