I would love to see a stat on what has happened to club selection on a 2nd shot of a par 4 over time. I bet it the number has gone up with golf becoming a driver/wedge/putter contest.

I remember when colored gold balls were popular during the 1980s.

Better Golf Through Technology.

We need to go back to wooden shafts and gutta-percha.

A lot of classic gold courses are obsolete for the pros.

You can hear a well-hit ball. It makes just the right sound off the club. I have managed to do it twice.

There are rumors swirling that DeChambeau is using some form of steroids. He looks like a football linebacker.

“A lot of classic gold courses are obsolete for the pros.”

The USGA won’t offer Merion the US Open anymore because it’s under 7000 yards.

How long before the R&A won’t have The Open Championship at the Old Course at St Andrew’s because all the par 4s are drivable except the Road Hole?

Drive for show. Putt for dough.

Bryson DeChambeau is currently #1 in driving distance, and #2 for official money earned.

Instead of repeating inane catchy phrases because you hear them all the time, I'd encourage you to think some for yourself. In reality, driving and putting are both very important.
