I ditched cable quite awhile ago and don’t miss it at all. Some nice freeper had recommended using https://ustvgo.tv
and it is great. Has every channel imaginable plus plenty of sports channels if you cant quite give them up. And it is FREE! Don’t need to download anything.

“According to Frontier, that charge cannot be removed from customer’s bills.”
The charge can be removed, Frontier simply chooses not to remove it.

I'll cancel my TV/Cable plan if I have to and just go with whatever I can get through OTA and internet.
Good idea. You may be pleasantly surprised to find streaming TV is far cheaper with better options.
YouTube TV just went up to $65.00 per month. Great choice. Or Sling or Hulu or other options are out there in place of cable.

Just downgraded to the lowest package which means no ESPN. Rep said that it’s $13 cheaper and she will throw in $5 more off for a year!!!!

I use ustv.go.tv, but, it doesn’t have the local channels. Still a very alternative.

My sister uses FUBO TV in their winter place in Florida — no cable or satellite. It looks pretty good. We’re considering pulling the plug on DirecTV, which has become ridiculously expensive considering how few channels we watch.

Colleges/universities, are also going along with all the 'offend-no-one'/diversity/surrender crap.

I just checked that out, and the channel lineup is pretty good. It has OAN, which most don’t have. I couldn’t find a cost. Also, can’t watch on Smart TV — only computers, tablets, etc. Too bad.

You mean, on an individual basis, or all-customers-wide basis?

We get free basic cable + HBO but last year bought a ROKU box and find I hardly ever even watch cable any more even though it’s still there.

I dont like what they charge for milk at the local grocer. I buy it somewhere else.
I buy milk anywhere that I choose, as long as it's for a price which I like. I want to shop for a regional sports fee, where I can pay ZERO amount, which means, I don't want it or need it. Milk, I need, though I can do without it if had to. The Frontier fee for sports, is not something which I chose.
When it comes to a regional sports fee, I don't like paying it at all, since I don't have a need for it, and I don't support the leagues/teams that the fee supports.

Tom’s Guide says it lowest cost of that system is $54.+ a month.
How much does FuboTV cost?
Fubo starts at $54.99, with its base package. That includes two simultaneous streams and 30 hours of cloud-based storage for the service’s DVR. This is a whopping $30 more than Sling TV’s Orange and Blue packages, typically $25 (but currently $15); $10 more than the intro-level Hulu and PS Vue packages; and $5 more than YouTube TV.
https://ustvgo.tv/ is free on your internet. Preparing to leave Century Link and go with a ‘hotspot’ on a cell plan.

Buy an antenna you can turn by remote control for like 30 bucks for local TV and then get a kodi box and watch shows off of apps like Genesis or Yoda.

“https://ustvgo.tv/ is free on your internet.”
To see it on a Smart TV, would you go to the browser app on the TV and bring it up that way? (I used to be “up” on technology — then I retired and got stupid real fast.)
To: MayflowerMadam
Also, cant watch on Smart TV only computers, tablets, etc. Too bad.You could stream ustvgo from a laptop/desktop to a TV via an HDMI/USB cord.
