Only 57?
She still had so much life left.
My heart and prayers for her family.
She was incredibly beautiful and had a sweet smile. I guess the fact that they thanked MD Anderson shows they didn’t go the Scientology route?
grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center,
Kind of surprised.
Didn’t go the Scientology route for treatment?
May she rest in peace.
Because it’s a really disordered growth of cells and you can’t necessarily order them to turn off. (That’s what wifey says. I know nothing about it.)
I assume they were still Scientologists...
Now consider that ~80% of cancers aren’t breast cancer. All we ever hear of though is the pink ribbons.
Money, along with the politics driven by money.
Look at the politics around hydroxychloroquine and multiply by 1000 because of decades of entrenched interests.
There are thousands of Faucis blocking real medical solutions.
It’s too big an industry, like diabetes and several others, none of which will ever be “cured”. Too many jobs and too much money involved.
Or, cells mutate for environmental or genetic reasons.
Everything is not a conspiracy. Sometime the cosmic rays just hit things the wrong way.
She has a quite cureable version of it. Not unlike what Steve Jobs had.
Her cancer is in the bottom of the pancreas. The more deadly version is in the top, or head, of the pancreas.
Thats not how it works.
There is never an opportunity for the sperm or egg to meet.
Oh ok thanks
My wife has pancreatic cancer. The reaction is kind of funny. First, we get the assumption she had breast cancer. Then, its almost like people are disappointed its not breast cancer. Then you get the horrified look when they hear its pancreatic cancer. And then they practically run away as if its contagious.
We are used to it. The best reaction? Her hair dresser. Gave her a hug, and has touched base a couple times a week to see how we are doing. She has become our hero.
People are interesting animals.
Family friend is MD. His sis died of breast cancer young. So he went into cancer research field. When I asked him what causes it, he told me about “triggers”.
Couple of times a week! She is an angel. Most people dont make so much time for their children.
My wife was diagnosed stage 4 two years ago. A ketogenic diet slowed it down but she can’t do zero carbs, so it progresses.
My wife got it at 73. Fortunately only stage 1 and small. They hit it with direct narrow beam radiation in the open wound during surgery. No chemo or more radiation 4 years later and no recurrence.
Wow. That’s a shame. Beautiful woman and apparently happily married to John Travolta. Prayers.
If youve never seen her in Mischief, you owe it to yourself.
A woefully underrated movie.
