On Wednesday, July 8^th Senator Tim Scott hosted Attorney General William Barr in Columbia, South Carolina for two closed-press roundtable events with faith and community leaders and members of law enforcement to discuss restoring relationships between law enforcement and African American communities in South Carolina and across the country.

At Bethel A.M.E Church, Attorney General Barr and Senator Scott met with a group of faith and community leaders across ideological and political spectrums.  Attorney General Barr praised Senator Scott for his work on the Justice Act and the opportunity for the Justice Department to partner with him and his staff on this effort.  The Attorney General continued by underscoring the commitment by the Justice Department to rebuilding trust between law enforcement and the communities they police and upholding the rule of law for safer and better communities.

At a second event in downtown Columbia, Attorney General Barr and Senator Scott and met with members of local, state and federal law enforcement.  Attorney General Barr stated the critical importance of their work, acknowledging the challenges they face and his commitment to necessary reforms.  He continued to affirm his support for the law enforcement officers doing their jobs bravely and righteously to keep their communities safe from harm.

“There is no tougher job in America than being a police officer.  We need these institutions to provide peace and security in society to allow our lives to flourish,” said Attorney General Barr.  “At the same time, whenever you have that kind of institution, you have the possibility of abuse.  We need to support the police so that they’re out there protecting the community, but at the same time we have to be sure that there aren’t these abuses. It’s striking a balance.”

“I’d like to thank Attorney General Barr for making the trip to South Carolina.  We certainly had a great conversation with a lot of leaders, and I look forward to continuing the conversations…I’m hopeful that the next couple of weeks may produce the results that we’re looking for,” said Senator Tim Scott.

The president has told the public repeatedly that he would gladly send troops, is waiting to send troops, to any governor that requests them. Every day that goes by with riots, the public looks at their Dem governor in disgust.

They are trying to goad President Trump into sending troops against the will of the governor, triggering a constitutional crisis that they’ve been begging for. He’s calling their bluff and the public is now seeing the kind of lives we would expect to lead under Dem leadership.

US Marshals have been quietly arresting well funded organizers. Saw a clip of on such arrest. Unmarked car, uniforms without an emblem, they show up and briskly whisk an organizer to the car. Her friends and screaming, “WHO ARE YOU!?” “WHere are you taking her?!” and they don’t answer, they just leave.

That’s how Trump’s admin drained the air out of the CHOP in Seattle - it was without leadership. Same thing happening elsewhere. The President can’t force states to accept help, but he can use US Marshals to arrest people for federal crimes.

Right now the Dem Governor’s lockdowns and Covid-19 scam are being used to prevent travel for witness testimony in the coup. I watched a clip of Clapper smirking as he said he’d be happy to testify, as soon as they get a vaccine for Covid-19. That’s why the clowns keep stoking the Covid-19 scam, they need to keep the country locked down to keep their players out of court and demand main-in votes so ballots can be stolen.

The public statement Barr made was the standard, pitiful, guilt ridden, apology for enforcing our laws against people of color.

Barr has been sprinting to the Left this week.

First, he endorsed the 3.5 year prison sentence Roger Stone is about to serve after Stone was found guilty of being a self-aggrandizing, Right Wing, political goofball.

Today, now apologizing to Hard Left Black radicals.
