School is the next battleground over the Wuhan Flu. A message to the Fearmoms out there - School should go back to normal in the Fall. There is no need to have kids wearing masks and having plastic barriers between desks and six feet of separation between kids. It is ineffective, stupid and impossible to enforce. If you are nervous that your precious prince or princess will get the Corona then put them in online charter public school. It is free. You can relax about Corona. And it doesn’t spoil school for the rest of the kids.
Once we get public school going in a relatively unrestricted way then everything else related to lockdowns and masks will be under tremendous pressure to go away. They can’t make people wear masks when about 20% of the population is spending the day in the world’s greatest germ factory - public school.

The govt should support home schooling now!
And distribute the funds they collected in school taxes.
I expect a large percentage of teachers won’t go along with it. It’s a problem when they are in the “got a job for life, no matter what I do” category.
Cincinnati Public Schools is going on a 2 day/3 day school week. One week, half the kids go Tuesday and Thursday. Second week, they go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
And all the kids will be given free computers. But different grades get different types of machines. Some grades get iPads, and some get Workbooks.
Not sure how the split classes will fix anything. After a couple weeks, there will be no way to prevent it.
Every other school system in the area is just doing masks.
