First, the left called him a hero and he became a useful idiot for them. Now he wants to be a victim. He is a dumb butt fat slob.
Vindman has been selected for the War College level of schooling and for promotion to Colonel (O-6). Accepting either of these is accompanied by an additional service obligation. By retiring now, he can take a job at one of the Beltway think tanks with a big salary increase in addition to his retirement pay. He will be a big hero among the Leftist crowd.
This has been his plan all along and he will be on the gravy train. He has been a political operative for years, and leaked on the details of the phone call to set himself up for his next career path.
Who is he kidding? After his performance, I doubt anyone else in uniform wanted to work with him, or for him. Hopefully he’s been shunned, and it forced his hand...or he was told it would be in his best interest to retire as a Lt. Colonel while he can.
