The mayor is the person who not only allowed but actively encouraged what happened.

Silence is violence. The black community is just as complicit as the mayor for not speaking out against this hate and violence when it first exploded. I’ve been in in Georgia now 23 years,and during this time Atlantans have only ever elected black mayors, some of which have ended up in prison. Elections have consequences...
