The mayor says she is done trying to negotiate with protesters after the girl's death
After a night of a dozen shootings, including one in which an 8-year-old girl was killed, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Sunday said protesters could no longer occupy the Wendy’s where a police officer shot and killed Rayshard Brooks last month.
The girl, identified by police as Secoriea Turner, was killed not far from the scene where Brooks was shot on June 12, Atlanta’s Fox 5 reported, citing police.
Police said Turner was riding in a car with her mother and another adult when a group fired multiple times at the vehicle, hitting the girl.

I hope the parents sue the mayor for encouraging the lawlessness that led up to this death.
I’m not impressed.
And a better reaction would be promising to bring the murderer of the little girl to justice and starting by arresting those involved.

She has lost police support. It doesn’t matter how fed up she is now. You can’t fake a counterattack. She has no armed and committed forces. The police knew this violence would escalate when they were blamed and denounced. They are in no mood to now bail out these foolish politicians. When you deliver the city to the mob, you reap the whirlwind.

You got it. The mayor of Atlanta is a coward and people died because of it. If she had cracked down on the street Marxists and thugs, this 8 year old girl would be alive today. Her death and blood are on Bottoms’ hands.
Did polling data suggest that the killing of an 8-year old could hurt her VP chances?

It would have to be a strong willed, Constitution observing Republican woman who can hold her own up against the traitorous Congress Critters and Senate Swampies of her own party.
I voted for Palin. Unfortunately, I would have had to have McCain as the Pres for a bit. Sigh.
As for the Women’s vote. So much dark history around the right for them to vote. The male members of the species really thought they could control the inside of the ballot box. BIG MISTAKE.
As a woman I can understand the despair/frustration over women voting.
It’s like some women have a suicidal streak running in their families.
Personally, I have to hold myself back when I am hearing a woman voted for the person, not the party. And when I ask them about the person they voted for, they have nothing to say.
Mind you, the male species of this country have also voted for nincompoops. The women, though, tend to vote for evil and call it as for their own good.
An ignorant female voter who is raising children is twice a threat as her offspring often pick up her voting (or not voting) habits.

I hope people like her learn that it is better to prevent terrorist no-go zones in the first place. Once they exist, it is can be messy cleaning them up.
