I cannot in good mind declare the young man at fault.

If you watched the video, he clearly was. He was driving the wrong way on an off-ramp and didn't slow down once he saw the protesters.

That being said, I have no sympathy for the protesters whatsoever.

Wrong. I watched the video (a dozen times) and he is clearly driving on the correct side of the highway. He swerved around the blocking vehicles, then swerved left to avoid a bunch of people and the idiots in dark clothing in the middle of the road were hit. You know, even if he entered via an off-ramp (not verified), one could then do a 180 to flow with traffic direction.

I am taking the view that should she have not been on the highway/roadway she’d not have been hit.

That is at her feet.

It’s that moment that concerns me. Not why he was where he was: She put herself in his path.

She was betting that no one would hit her or her friends.

How many folks prior to this age of babyisms would have taken such stupid steps to place themselves in danger en masse?

He’ll pay for his violations of the road law.

She simply compounded the interest.
