‘Stairways to Heaven’ is one of the wackiest albums ever released. Every song on here is “Stairway to Heaven,” but all performed in very different styles. To even get a grasp on the range of styles here is almost mind-boggling.

The fact that you stumbled across this is just incredible. I discovered “Are Friends Electric” a few weeks ago and was incredibly impressed with how good it is. Low number of subscribers and views. How did you find him?
There’s band out of LA, I’ve seen a few times when I was out west, that covers a lot of Zepp songs. Their arrangements are pretty good, but they do it with a raggae style, and their lead singer is an elvis knock-off. Somehow it tends to work out, though - and I’m a Zep purist. They’re on youtube, and have a “best of” playlist. They’re called “Dread Zeppelin” You will never forget them.

Yeah, I’ve seen Dread Zeppelin videos and they are a hoot! I think they go back to the 80s. It’s like Elvis meets reggae meets Zeppelin. A very clever and humorous band.
Dread Zeppelin does a great cover of Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water” I think they were/are a Vegas act.
