It’s really simple, just go buy a farm. There’s always prime farm land for sale somewhere. Along with the equipment.
But my gut feeling is anyone wanting a farm for the sole reason they think they have been cheated out of one knows no more about farming than Bloomberg. It’s very high tech from planning, to seeding, to harvest, to marketing. I’d like to see these clowns play the futures or operate a combine.
I saw a bunch of typical (yes, stereotypical) grungy ‘shoppers’ in front of a vegan store yesterday, and I couldn’t help but wonder if they’re ‘down with the revolution’. In the meantime, this store sells vegan cheese (made from nuts) and other items for a LOT of money. They seem to be doing well, so these ‘grungy’ (unwashed hair, pants too big, etc.) vegans are keeping them in coin.
The hypocrisy and irony of the youth who are ‘down with the revolution’ is beyond intolerable and sad. If I were in the military right now, and was asked to deploy to a dangerous place, I would have to ask myself whether it makes sense to put my life on the line for people who hate me and who are actively trying to destroy what I am supposed to be fighting for.
No kidding.
I am growing tomatoes and peppers in buckets and dont even want to deal with all of this ..calcium does this...nitrogen does that...etc.

Well, they need to fight it out with the ‘immigrants’ from Mexico, who have moved into agriculture to the point of buying farms.
I doubt a lot of black people actually want to go out and farm. Probably better than living in blighted crime riddled inner cities though.

There are fewer farmers in general. The numbers have been going down since 1900. It’s tough making a living in farming.
If they can directly trace their heritage to slaves, maybe. Butt then the “native Americans” may want to claim it back.

Expelled? They voluntarily moved to cities, partly to get away from racist issues but also to find work.
As for “forefront of innovation” - uh, sure. All 2% are doing the innovation of all.
The exodus of persons of ALL ethnicities has been going on virtually unabated for the past century, not just blacks. Almost always it was for economic reasons, for black as well as the vastly greater number of all other ethnic groups. Trying to wrest a living from the soil, when you have to buy everything retail and sell everything at wholesale, is not a recipe for quick return, and most of the youth look at this lopsided economic equation, finally deciding that life on the farm is not for them.
Nobody was “expelled” from the land. They fled for greener pastures, lured by promise of much greater remuneration for much shorter hours.

And as far as the “98% rural land” - does that mean FARMS, or just “rural”? Because I assure you, much of “rural” land is just “small” homesteads without farms.
