Last I heard, Lady Antebellum first changed their name to
Lady A, then some obscure, middle aged, black performer said that was HER professional name, and has been for over 20 years! She ‘feels violated’. So now, I don’t know what they’re going to settle for.
The one good thing about this is that White Liberals are looking more and more foolish. Black people are laughing at them.
Lady A is a blues singer. It’s not a good look for some white country folks to change their name to avoid connections to the south and racism by ignorantly taking the name of a black professional blues singer. I had heard their name but didn’t even know it was a group much less that they were country. They should’ve kept the name instead of trying to play the woke game.
