Never used Instagram.
Parler is like twitter but better for discussion. If you like FR you will definitely like Parler IMO. (many people have said this)
I just joined Parler.
Have not done Twitter or Facebook or any other social network, other than FR.
The platform just needs to get more big political and business personalities signed up.

Also many of the personalities that have been banned from twitter are there !
For example I followed @Alx on twitter before he was banned. He works for Turning Point USA and always posts interesting stuff. He is now on Parler (as @Alx).
I recommend following @Alx to get started
And @RandPaul of course ...

Twitter is full of liberals who can be quite nasty. I dont use Facebook or insta either!

Thank you, RF! Hate to ask a newbie question, but do you know what icon I need to click to follow? It’s kind of wonky to me over there...
At the top in the search box enter ‘Ted Cruz’ or ‘Alx’ or ‘Rand Paul’
Then simply click the Follow tab next to their name and it’s done!
Just keep clicking the various icons and look around you’ll soon get the hang of it!:)

Just as for President Trump, Cruz can join Parler but should POST IDENTICAL MESSAGES ON BOTH PARLER AND TWITTER. Never surrender or abandon ground. Keep the broadest possible audiences.

I tried three or four times to join Parler using the Parler app. I got to the Captcha page and put in the code (which was not hard to decipher, unlike some Captchas) and it said it was wrong. I loaded it again, different captcha, still said it was wrong.
I don’t have a smartphone ..I use a laptop ..can’t help I’m afraid. Maybe contact them somehow?

At the top left, click the button that has four bars and looks like this

and has ‘Parler’ next to it.
From there you can click Settings and Privacy and change your name/profile etc.
