In light of Nancy Pelosi's gaffe by declaring the new bill in honor of George "Kirby", I looked him up. I remembered him and his name, but I wanted to know more about him. This is actually an entry in his Wikipedia page and under the heading "Police Reform Bill".
In light of Black Lives Matters and protests in honor of George Floyd, Nancy Pelosi has vowed to name the Police Reform Bill after George Kirby.
I don't know if someone actually believes this, is maybe trying to throw shade in NP's direction, or if they are trolling her.
By the way, the page also says he served 3.5 years in prison for dealing heroin and cocaine.
