Yes, I love that. What an idiot. All these ways electricity demand is going to go up, so it gets cheaper. What a doofus.
Why use a reactor to make steam to spin a turbine to generate electricity to run the motors to turn the wheels? Lots of extra bits and conversion losses. Cut out the middleman and run the wheels with turbines. Plus, how do you get enough atmospheric cooling to condense the steam from a reactor anyway?
