“It would be interesting to go back in time and see just which Freepers celebrated this jack-hat being selected by the President - and just who thought (knew!) it was a mistake.”

I liked Bolton. Always did, until recently.

I liked Roberts too.

I liked Bush too.

I voted for McCain once.

I voted for Romney.

I don't say these things in a boastful way. I did what I thought was the right thing to do at the time.

Looking back, it is clear the GOP has been corrupt for a long time. Perhaps five percent less corrupt than the Democrats but corrupt none the less.

I could’ve written your post word-for-word.

Given the choices we had there wasn’t much in the way of other options.

Of course it has. Read my tag line. It’s been that way for a be long time. I called Bush out in 2005 on this forum and got crucified. I’ve called out Trump for proposing a budget early this year that had a $1.3 trillion budget deficit (pre-Covid) and got equally skewered. I don’t care. I stand by my principles. If we don’t have those-we are no better than liberals. But what’s funny-on this forum now -when you stand by your principles and call a spade a spade-people accuse you of being a liberal. Typical.
