The moon was blown from orbit in 1999.
A MKII version was put in place.

No matter how nutty was the U.S. Air Force idea, the title is expresses a lie and is dumb and incendiary.
The nutty idea of exploding a device on the moon would not have “blown up the moon”.
As far as the space colony idea is concerned, it was just about a century ahead of it’s time. I think by 2050 we will have a research “station” on the moon, and like Antarctic so will Russia, Europe, China and others.
