Rolling over means telling people they can’t, or shouldn’t fly the Confederate flag at a Trump rally, or any other event because the left and the media will find it offensive, and focus on it. If only one flag appeared, the media would focus on that one flag only...nothing else. If everybody waved an LGBT rainbow flag, they’d bitch about that too. It’s what they do. Anything we do is offensive to them anyway. I’m not into catering to the left, because no matter what you do, whatever concessions you make, it will never be enough. Look at the way they’ve tried to make the Gadsen Flag a racist symbol. They tried to claim the Pepe the Frog character was racist. Every fricking thing they don’t like is racist. If somebody wants to bring the Gadsen flag or the Confederate Battle Flag with them to a rally or protest, that’s their business, their choice. Not mine.
Okay, Yay, you said something. My opinion is that any attempt to make the Trump rally about the Confederate flag is a bad idea. There will be one there. There will also be at least one, right out of the box, Nazi flag there. The media is going to focus on them. Why make it easier on them? Sure, if somebody wants to do something, then whatever. People want to do dumb stuff all the time. Yes, everything they don’t like at any given moment is racist. Don’t make it easy for them. Make them attack the American flag. Make them look absurd. The only people worth convincing are white people in the middle. The American flag is their only symbol, unless it’s their NFL team jersey (just threw up a little).
