"No need to make this rally a referendum on the Confederate Flag."

Obviously you're saying no one should show a Confederate flag at the rally. That's rolling over. The media will make it all about the flag anyone, even if one person waves one. How about the State flags that feature Confederate symbols in them? Like Arkansas, North Carolina, Mississippi, Are those okay or not?

So, rolling over equals not making the Trump rally in Tulsa about the Confederate flag. I disagree. I think the American flag is the symbol we should rally behind. That said, I do believe that there will be Confederate flags and probably other no-no flags there.

You see, I actually support the Confederate flag. I think it should stay on those state flags for the very reason it was put there in the first place. I’m in the Heart of Dixie and Dixie’s in the heart of me. The next two lines of that song are especially apt. But, I think it’s not helpful for the Trump campaign in a race that will be extraordinarily tight where suburban women are a key voting block. You think it will be helpful, or you have other goals for the rally, or some third option that doesn’t immediately reveal itself. We disagree.
