It’s called tactics. The optics of Confederate flags at a Trump rally are a negative in the effort to re-elect the President. In this climate the MSM will exploit it for all its worth. I hope Trump’s people make sure there are none.

One rule of warfare is “Do not do what your enemy wants you to do.” And every last Democrat would love to see the Confederate flag at a Trump rally.

Now consider the assault on Confederate statues. The Left would prefer that we just quietly let those statues come down. So we should do the opposite. Fuss. Make noise. At a bare minimum. write your senators. Go to town meetings. Make a fuss.

I agree that management of optics is everything for public events. A sea of American Flags would be optimal. The rat media will focus on any CSA flag (although they are too stupid to recognize the First National) and over and over play the picture and mention allegations of racism.

After Goldwater was nominated in ‘64 and the delegates were milling around and moving out a band was on stage and it played a medley of what used to be called ‘patriotic popular music’. One number was Dixie. The TV whores showed the clip of the band playing Dixie over and over with narrative that said this followed the Goldwater nomination. Suggesting there was a connection and BMG was a racist. The rats are always on the watch.
