KAEPERNICK FOR COMMISSIONER!!!
hey NFL and Roger Goodell, F-you.
Guess you all can kiss my rear end forever.
Watch as your tv revenues dry up.
That POS Goodell pleading with teams to sign that despicable, sub-human scumbag Kapernick.
In all my years, that spectacle was nauseating. Goodell brings to mind a Jew in 1937 showing the Nazis where all the Jewish refugees are hiding, sweat beading down his face, an obsequious smile on his face, trying to buy himself a few more minutes of freedom.
He is already filthy rich, so he doesn’t need more money. The players doing this are going to be able to finish out their careers, make their money, and abscond to their mansions if they manage not to blow it all on strippers and hanger-ons like many of them will. They are salting the earth for anyone who wanted to play football at all levels.
And in a few years, there will be no league.
When I was in the Navy, before the era of instant communciation world wide, I used to pace outside the radio shack on the ship on Sunday nights, because they would, at some point after all the games were over, post the scores on the bulkhead outside the door.
When in port, I spent hours on the flight deck with a small radio, going up and down the dial, hoping to stumble on a radio bounce from the states, waiting for scores or the sound of an announcer, the American NFL voices instantly distinguishable.
My best friend is/was also a fanatical football fan like me. I have spent Sundays with him for the past 30 years watching at least one game. We have gone to games, traveled the country to go to games, gone to a Super Bowl together...
It was something that gave us an excuse to get together every week. Something we had in common, something we could talk about that wasn’t the “old days”.
This dies hard for me.
