Years ago when I worked in a large hospital if you wanted to know anything especially new information you could ask the janitorial staff. They were first to know because management would talk in front of them not even noting their presence.

Same at school! The custodians know a lot of scuttlebutt. I was always certain to establish positive relationships with them, the cafeteria ladies/workers, and office staff.

#637 years ago I was the local Union President and we had a Supervisor who was harassing and even threatening physical harm to his employees. (Custodian and Maintenance workers) I put a stop to it and after that I knew everything that took place there. They kept me advised of Everything...

I soon learned you can know too much. LOL
