Roger Goodell would like to see Colin Kaepernick back in the NFL this season. The NFL commissioner said during ESPN's 'The Return of Sports' special on Monday that he is encouraging teams to sign the 32-year old quarterback, who hasn't played the past three seasons. Kaepernick was with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016 when he kneeled during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.

If the NFL wants kneelers, when are they bringing back Tim Tebow?

Is Goodell purposely trying to turn away fans and completely bury the NFL? (not that I care)

If Kaepernick was good enough to play in the NFL, he would have been playing these last few years.

The only reason a team would sign him is to virtue-signal. I don't think kaepernick himself really wants to play. He doing quite well hammering checks from nike without having to take the risk of being injured or looking foolish on the field due to his diminished skills.

Perhaps a team should sign him, let him play, and unwittingly show the world how unqualified he is to play in the NFL any longer.

Either way; I hope the NFL undergoes a major financial apocalypse as they further alienate their base audience. (white men with jobs who love their country). Yes, there are some woke 'soy-boys' who have a marginal interest in the NFL, but not enough to make up for the core NFL audience that they are alienating.

The NFL may want him on the field for the optics of it, but CK has been out of the league all this time because there’s no upside for any individual team to sign him.

Personally, I think Goodell should resign ... so Colon Kaepernick can be the new NFL commissioner.

I haven’t watched ESPN at all since March, I basically can’t stand being preached to everyday....

I love sports, especially football, I totally look forward to weekends in the fall, college football on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday.....I can’t remember a time when this wasn’t true...

Right now, the NFL is totally off my radar, I do not plan to watch a single game of the NFL....

I am really torn about college football, if schools fall in line and implement woke policies...I will not watch that either, including my Alma Mater who is usually a top 10 college football team...

What these sports don’t realize is, once people stop watching and get use to it, it will be really hard to get them back....

I wonder what Kaepernick’s been doing for money the last four years?

Anybody know where he’s been getting his money?

These sports leagues are learning the hard way that TV news coverage of riots and looting is far more entertaining than any sport.
