MPD should announce that they will no longer respond to calls, that all 911 calls will be routed to the mayor, governor, and city council. Let them respond to all the crime and violence that they have deliberately unleashed on the city.

The police will not do more than a per functionary investigation of these crimes. They simply will not risk any harm to themselves in these neighborhoods. Democratic controlled urban America will soon resemble the worst of Chicago. The liberals will be soon evacuating and contaminating Republican areas with their politics and policies.
Just curious - without a police force, how will leftists and progressives ?

prevent open alcohol containers

Prior to this...there was regular drug trafficking going on in Minneapolis. Unlike LA, where there’s just two significant black gangs, a dozen-odd Latino gangs, etc...there are probably around 40-odd minor gangs in Minneapolis area (at least what the cops were telling journalists in 2019).
It really wouldn’t take that much to trigger a war between the gangs, and escalate violence (in a matter of just a month or two). Well...I think the looting and threats put upon the police there were sufficient to trigger the gang war and retaliation threat. You can probably figure Chicago-death numbers will start to be noticed every weekend in Minneapolis and the ‘NO-POLICE’ idiots will realize the threat in a matter of four to five months.

The head of an international private security company told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS he employed dozens of former Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Green Berets and CIA agents to protect companies and assist the government during recent unrest in Minneapolis.
Michael Rozin, CEO of Rozin Security, said his team of former special operations forces members helped track the violence and also were involved in protecting key sites on the streets.
Rozin said, for the most part, the fires and gunshots during the worst three-day stretch of the unrest, May 28 through May 30, were connected to known anarchists and some neo-Nazi groups who traveled to the Twin Cities metro in the days after George Floyd’s death.
“The anarchists, the extremist groups, were operating in an organized fashion,” Rozin said. “They were operating in what almost appears to be an asymmetric warfare manner.”...
When KSTP asked Rozin specifically which anarchist groups and which neo-Nazi groups were involved in the Twin Cities rioting and arson, he deferred to the federal government.
“I would rather not say, in my position, which groups by name were involved in this activity,” Rozin said. “I think that is a question better answered by the FBI and the ATF

This guy is a phony. If Anifa and neo Nazis were squaring off and fighting, there would be bodies in the morgue to prove it. This guy is just trying to inflate his importance and enhance his reputation. Yet it is true that private security for the elite is a growth business. So far the riots and looting did not extend into well armed residential areas. If they had the death rate from this nonsense would be much higher. People when threatened will defend themselves, their families and their property.

Earlier this week, 28-year-old Matthew Rupert from Illinois was charged with civil disorder in Minneapolis after the death of George Floyd.
Part of what incriminated him were the Facebook videos he posted passing out explosives and encouraging others to throw them at police. Rupert had already moved on to riots in Chicago when he was arrested by federal authorities there.
Rupert has not been publically(sic) identified with a known extremist group, but his arrest is a reminder that not all actors hiding in the crowd are local and some might have a different agenda than the rest.
“Many times they turn a peaceful protest into a violent confrontation,” said Michael Rozin with Rozin Security.
Rozin has made a career out of studying the actions of extremist groups. Though ideologies may differ, one element is the same: extremist groups can take advantage of a public crisis or event to undermine the government...
Sunday night, Minnesota Commissioner of Corrections Paul Schnell said they’d gotten reports, posters and flyers indicating that white supremacists were operating in the area.
“We believe there is a presence out there, we are mindful of these groups. It can be one person or two people that bring in the others and create ‘groupthink,’” Schnell said.
