Yep- they want to make it easier to rewrite history, where the Republicans were the slave owners, and the heroic Dems freed them(and there was no KKK or Jim Crow in the South-just the racist North).

hiding their sins in part. but then they show their true intellects by pulling down famous abolitionists, tributes to the first ‘negro’ regiment of the CW, etc....
they won’t be happy though, until they can pull down the Washington Monument ..
