In St Tammany it has been nothing much but a windy sporadic rainstorm.

FREE MONEY!
(Lived there 10 years... City/Parish/State all call it FREE MONEY and it NEVER goes to where it was initially directed)

Louisiana needs prayers, but not for the reason of this storm.

I called it...their snowflake governor accused Trump of not cancelling Mardi Gras, his job, and first hint of a hurricane he’s begging Trump for help...typical...

No I’m not oblivious to the plight of the people especially near the coast, I’ve been through a half dozen hurricanes myself, in both Louisiana and Texas, I know exactly what it’s like.

I just remember predicting this when covid19 showed up and their governor, Jon bel Edwards, claimed it was Trump’s fault Mardi Gras was not cancelled, now he’s begging for OUR TAX MONEY before the hurricane even hits land...exactly as I predicted...

I’m glad Trump is not as vindictive as I am...I’d have a really hard time not at least making him squirm for a while...hmmmm...I seem to remember you tried to blame ME for the last disaster bud...let’s think about this...

I really don’t understand this. It’s not even hitting land as a hurricane, it’s a tropical storm, yet it’s a federally recognized disaster? What part of it was that bad? We’ve been getting rain for decades and centuries and surviving. This wasn’t anything even close to a double big whammy like Rita/Katrina, or a stalled storm dumping crazy amounts of rain like Harvey.

Texas called up thousands of Guardsmen just in case the “hurricane” hit Texas.. This is getting a little ridiculous on all the emergency just-in-case prep for these kinds of things.
