Charlie Chase has a message for the guy accused of beating him up for holding a Trump 2020 sign: “You will not scare me away!”
The 82-year-old Air Force veteran proved that by exercising his First Amendment right — again — for all to see Saturday in Fall River. He proudly stood in the square, an example to what the revolutionary Thomas Paine once wrote: “What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.”
Chase said the middle of his back ached after the attack, but the nonstop calls of support have eased his pain — especially kind words from Donald Trump Jr.

What the left is doing (and has been for a long time), is intimidating and using violence in order to get their way.
It’s time that the government(s), especially the federal law enforcement apparatus, get going to stop the violence and intimidation before it gets way out of hand and they end up with something approaching a civil war. In reality, the civil war has started, but it’s not yet recognized as such.

My first day as a public school classroom teacher came for me at the age of 49. After a 25+ yr career in a “real job” (my colleagues are offended when I say that) I came to education (and remain) as an outsider.
Paine’s comment exquisitely described what I have observed in 15 years “on the inside”.
Students lack the maturity to value “free education”. In many cases, to successfully teach that student I must find who is this child accountable to that is valuing this education by proxy.

No, given the root of what they believe (which is Leftist in nature, and communist in particular) I don’t believe if push came to shove that would be a problem for them.
