Today at a rally in Minneapolis, Boy Mayor Jacob Frey addressed a crowd that was even more left-wing than he is. Dutifully wearing a mask, he told the crowd that he doesn’t favor defunding the Minneapolis Police Department.
I’m actually not sure what “defunding the police department” means. I take it that these people really want to live in a city that has no police services. So, if you see that someone is trying to break into your house, what do you do? One possible answer is, pull out the semiautomatic pistol that you keep next to your bed, and blow him away. But I don’t think that is what these people have in mind. To put it politely, I don’t think they are serious.
But even Jacob Frey’s modest engagement with reality was too much for Minneapolis’s leftists. They booed him off the stage:

Yes it is. Especially after Trump gets re-elected and the GOP takes over both houses.
Of course, one could call it a take over but with C-suckers like Romney..
They’re eating their own. Inevitable. The protests only serve to help Trump, as images of the young, white and woke leftist mayor being rejected by rabid pack of insatiable lunatics pulls the curtain back.
I wonder if all of the destruction seen in this country, caused by mobs, just might cause some possible jurors in the trial of the cops to consider lighter sentences.

“Defund the Police” is the new slogan chanted by leftist sheep. None of the people chanting it really have any idea what it involves or how to handle criminal issues that arise without police.
That's impossible. They might be tied.
This is well within the typical liberal sector of the country, which runs between 15-25% of the total population.
These people are radicals and jump-on-the-bandwagon Leftists who want to be seen as "woke". They have no practical idea what it would mean to defund the police in communities. Chaos would ensue. Fighting crime on the honor system won't work, I'm afraid.
The idea of defunding the police departments across the country is going nowhere.
Something tells me that once these people start accumulating wealth and not live with their parents or on a college campus, they wouldn’t be so eager to be sitting ducks and the numbers here would shrink. Also the pandemic is making this appear worse. A lot of people have nothing to do and have been cooped up for a long time. They have no pressure to return to work. That’s part of why they want UBI and single payer health care. So they could do this all day-every day.
