My rule of thumb is spend as much on ammo as you did for the tool [if it’s a new type of round for the arsenal].
Good rule. My last acquisition was a few years ago for an all stainless steel Sig P226 X-Five for $1,500. I already had 10,000 rounds on the shelf and reloaded a few more cases.
