They are crazy to have this in a democrat area, the rules of the game have changed. The riots at the convention will make the current events look like child’s play. And the local government will take a hands off approach, let it burn. They need to have it somewhere where the local government will enforce the law.
True. And considering the extreme and violent wing of the D party has tipped their hand, the Spectrum Center is a TERRIBLE venue, with insufficient buffer space surrounding it, and a hostile Mayor and Governor.
We need a venue that will limit protesters to a well contained area, with security checking for potential weapons. One where any failure to be "peaceful" will only hurt their own. And a police force willing to crack some skulls if needed.
