Florida is among one of the least safest states in which to live, according to an analysis by financial website WalletHub.
The website ranked Florida as the 48th safest state in the country based on a number of factors ranging from the number of murders and rapes to the unemployment rate and the number of traffic fatalities per 100 million miles of travel.

Perhaps this ranking is mainly due to being where Florida Man and Florida Woman happen to live.
Yep
I’m living in paradise on the Gulf Coast near Sarasota. Screw their study.
Pre Floyd or Post Floyd?
Florida Man agrees.
Least safest states? Are the writers of this piece grammatically challenged?
Yes I understand grammatical errors can occur. I’m just noting that this report comes from a major news organization among people who do this sort of thing for a living.
You want to see an unsafe place? Go look at South Africa.
There are 50 states. Some state will always rank last. Or 49th, or 48th. We can always find a “least safe” state. There’s no way that won’t always be true.
But that doesn’t mean it is unsafe. That doesn’t mean there is a problem that needs fixing.
Least safest? The headline writer at CBS4 is the most stupidest.
WalletHub’s ownership is interesting, to say the least.
I think the explanation lies there.
Attention everyone living elsewhere: Do NOT move here! Especially NYers!
That is all. Heh.
But nothing beats US Studies.
If you get a room full of monkeys on typewriters, you get a newspaper.
I haven’t locked my doors since 1998 here in Florida. The number of traffic accidents here, however, is truly astounding ...and without them in the stats Florida is pretty darn calm living.
Warning to all coming to Florida, to play golf, our alligators will sometimes eat your balls!
It’s interesting that this “study” comes out after Florida managed probably the best response to the Wuhan flu of any of the largest states.
And although there have been some civil disturbances in Miami and Tampa, things seems reasonably under control. My town in southwest Florida appears perfectly quiet.
Commie media and academics certainly have plenty of reason for slinging slander against Florida and our highly competent governor, Ron DeSantis.
These writers will be taking their cues from the Weather Channel and the dramatic performance of Mike Seidel.

Also, no coincidence, the Republican Convention won’t be in North Carolina but is seeking a new location and that location may turn out to be Florida.
One can only hope that those Yankees pay attention to this article and believe it! The problem with Yankees moving to Florida is that they bring their left-wing politics with them.
It’s also the most alligateriest state.
