I remember there was a movie in the late 80’s or 90’s about a killer who was assassinating famous Hollywood stars and producers, who I think turned out to be a frustrated and rejected actor himself. Everyone in Hollywood gossiped about who the killer was, and the unknown killer ironically became a celebrity himself.
Does anyone remember that movie’s name?
I need to watch something as a pick-me-up.
Sounds kind of like “The Dead Pool,” which was Eastwood’s final Dirty Harry film.

Can’t remember who the villain was but the last Dirty Harry movie The Dead Pool had a similar plot.
