The conversion I made was taking the lead out and re-packing with rock salt. Anyone who has EVER been shot with rock salt does not want to EVER experience it again. Ask them.
My dad shot a fiend of mine with rock salt many many years ago —late at night mistaken for a burglar, buddy was just drunk looking for a place to pass out.
Maybe two chunks when through his jeans and hurt a bit but would just piss off a lot of people, secondly the effective range is about 10’ max

I understand the pain of salt, but don’’t have the re-packing equipment to change out the shot for rock salt. Are 12 gauge rounds no longer available in rock salt?
