Woman who threw Molotov cocktail at NYPD car hit with federal charge
The woman who allegedly threw a lit Molotov cocktail into an NYPD car full of cops early Saturday has been slapped with a federal charge of damaging a police vehicle a far cry from the attempted murder charges sought by the NYPD.
Samantha Shader, 27, of Catskill, New York, allegedly tossed the makeshift explosive into the marked police vehicle parked at Eastern Parkway and Washington Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn around 1:12 a.m, as a night of destructive protests over the killing of George Floyd winded down, federal prosecutors said.

I dont think the Feds can charge her with attempted murder. Thats a state criminal charge. Why hasnt she been arrested and charged under NY state law?
I don’t think its too late to bring more charges..
Plus that is the federal charge...what about state charges...local charges too...
They could still charge her with more.
And once again....almost nothing will happen to her. She will quietly be given a sentence of ‘time served’ or community service by a criminal, leftist federal judge appointed by clinton or obama, if she is convicted at all.
JoMa
They should walk away or start shooting the criminals.

I think thats enough to hold her, at least. Dont forget that people accused even of violent crimes in NYC and much of the State are released immediately without bail requirements because of their new no-bail laws.
The Austin police and fire said last night that they will not investigate the origins of the fires from the protesters. .....seems that burning things, buildings and people are not crimes anymore. ....speechless in Austin. ...
The feds have lots of laws. They need her phone. They need her in federal custody until they know who gave her the molotov cocktail, who brought her to NY and who she has been talking to. She is part of a large democrat organization that swarms cities and causes mayhem. This is the new Occupy. These are the same people who wear in Charlotte and Berkley and portland. Many are teachers who now have a whole summer to cause trouble.

Wonder if the 18 YO was the sister.
Allegedly my ass.
If I were a NYPD officer, I would call in sick till the riots are over.
Let it burn, why risk your life if the Austin Administration refuse to keep law and order?

Probably falls under the category of a “bomb” which is either ATF(E) or domestic terrorism.
Notice how we’ve seen only state police and national guard in Minneapolis. I’d guess the MPD is standing down because they feel Boy Mayor has thrown them under the bus.
I feel tge same way. They didnt kill George Floyd. Why should they put themselves at risk for a city who doesnt appreciate them and a mayor who doesnt have their backs.
She has already been charged under New York law and now faces federal charges also. If some New York asshat judge decides to release her, she will likely be placed in federal custody.
Samantha Shader, 27, was charged with four counts of attempted murder as well as attempted arson, assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. She is now facing federal charges from U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, the law-enforcement source said.
