Hardly the same thing. Not even close. Free Republic is totally honest about what it is and who it serves. It relies on donations as a 501(c)4 organization to stay afloat and neither sells advertising or stock.
Maybe not in your view or mine, but absolutely under Section 230 and this EO.
Here's the EO definition:
” Sec. 7. Definition. For purposes of this order, the term “online platform” means any website or application that allows users to create and share content or engage in social networking, or any general search engine.”
It's not even a close call - it applies to FR.
Would the Trump administration use this to go after Jim? Probably not.
Will the next Democratic one?
