If saving one life is the criterion, pothead drivers were killing plenty in my neck of the woods before WuFlu came along. But pols still want to legalize pot.

Tragic case here several years ago. A young mother was jogging with her twin boys in tandem stroller. A car ran a stop sign and hit her. The twins miraculously survived but have had to go on without their mother, who did not. The driver was a 19-year old kid to admitted to smoking a joint five minutes before getting behind the wheel.

And yet our politicians sure do want that revenue.
