I was on Ocracoke last week. Nasty weather and little seafood.
May and October are actually the nicest times to be out there, October in particular since the ocean temps are still warm. That is, if there aren’t any big storms around. Roll of the dice on that. I suggest running up to Duck or Corolla north of there, very nice. Check to see what’s open though, many restaurants and attractions may not have opened for the season yet because of all the Covid crap, Dare County was closed to nonresidents for the duration. If you’re there, they’ve reopened though, I suppose.
Careful a “ surprise” TS heading toward NC/SC border now.
We are heading up to Bryson city NC next month so not expecting to see many ferals while there.
