Its not every day you get two GOATs in the same round of golf.
The Match: Champions for Charity featured Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning against Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.
Outside of Manning, who retired from the NFL five years ago, the other three are still active in their sports and among the most accomplished athletes of all time. There were a combined eight Super Bowl rings and 20 major championships in Sundays foursome. Talk about legendary.

Brady being given a hard time for his poor play:

Observations:
1. Good entertainment.
2. Interesting course. Long from the tips (listed at 7,500 yds). Apparently the pros think its hard, even though the fairways are wide. Basically, if you miss a fairway youre in thick palm brush or water. Greens appear small with collection areas and false fronts.
3. Eldrick was by far the only one who had a game. He didnt miss a fairway and his iron shots were laser straight. He would have broken par. Interesting how he talked the least of the 4. Always competing.
4. Phil was very inconsistent and all over the place. He would have struggled to break par. Made a few good shots. Hes funny to listen to when hes playing and micd up. Always chatting with and teaching Brady, his partner.
5. Manning is a decent golfer. Apparently an 8 handicap. Basically a better than average weekend golfer who must play a lot. Hes a member at Augusta. He’s naturally a funny human being.
6. Brady is below average, notwithstanding he holed out from about 125 yds for a birdie. He seems to have a good swing, but he couldnt put it together. Maybe nerves, or maybe he doesnt play much now as he still has a day job. His entire performance was endearing.
7. There is a strong possibility that all 4 will vote Deplorable in November. Woods is the only wildcard.
I tried watching NASCAR last week and it just didn't capture my attention.
Woods and Trump have golfed together many times.
It is also Woods’s home course so he’s quite familiar with the layout.
The rest of the story will remain shrouded from view.
“Woods and Trump have golfed together many times.”
Aware of that. However, I don’t trust Woods, as he is Jordan-like in his business acumen and he likely has a personal policy, for the sake of good business, not to offend either side of the political fence. That said, his father was military and Woods always seems biased towards military matters — his charitable work for veterans and “hobbies” (including training with special operations forces) suggest he likely is a conservative. Finally, 90% of the PGA Tour is Republican (this was confirmed by a poll a few years ago), and he doesn’t seem like an outlier in that population.
When Orange County Raceway was still a thing I went there once and wasn’t impressed.
Another announcer said to Charles- Yea, your fat a**!
Phil and Manning were the most entertaining for that kind of event.
I think Brady was just having a bad day, because his swing looks decent.
Did not waste my time.
Maybe Gropey Joe can evaluate Tiger’s voting and racial qualifications.
Sir Charles going rogue on Inside the NBA about Jussie Smollet is a classic. I love it when Ernie the producer tries to get him back on track, and Sir Charles just puts his head down and runs with it.

When it comes to football Brady is #1, there is no #2 and in golf Tiger is #1 and again there is no #2. That said, Peyton and Phil are likely the closest you would get.
